Kate Leibfried is the author of the children's book "¿Cómo se llama tu llama?" She has also penned a few novels under the pseudonym Kate Bitters.

When she's not creating her own works of fiction, Kate works as a freelance writer, marketer, and ghostwriter (additional information HERE).

About Kate

Kate Leibfried grew up in Northern Minnesota among horses and pine trees. Her girlhood dream to be a writer was almost squashed in her post-college years by piles of practicality and reason. Fortunately, she never lost sight of that dream and is now a full-time writer and freelance marketer. 

Leibfried writes in the style of magic realism and has been inspired by some of the greats, primarily: Toni Morrison, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, and Neil Gaiman. She currently resides in Minneapolis, MN with her dog Dobby, who she picked up while living in Panama, and her partner, Eric, who she picked up at a murder mystery party.

A message to all aspiring writers:
Don't give up.  A writer's road is long, tough, and mostly traveled alone.  If you love writing, you won't think about the end result.  You won't think about the mountains of money you'll make from selling your brilliant book.  You'll simply enjoy the journey and let the road take you where it may.  And did I mention don't give up?
